How to create Custom Front Page in WordPress

To create your own front page in WordPress, you can follow these steps:

  1. Design your front page: You can create a new page by going to “Pages” > “Add New” in the admin menu. Add your desired content using the visual editor or Gutenberg block editor. You can include text, images, videos, and other media to create an engaging layout. Save and publish the page when you’re done.
  2. Preview and publish: Before making your front page live, preview it to see how it looks. Click on the “Preview” button or visit your site’s URL in a new tab. If you’re satisfied with the design, go back to the page editor and click “Publish” to make your front page visible to visitors.
  3. Create a static front page: By default, WordPress displays your latest blog posts on the front page. However, if you want to create a custom front page, you can set it to a static page instead. In the admin menu, go to “Settings” > “Reading.” Select the option “A static page” and choose the page you want to use as your front page (page created in step 1) from the drop-down menus.
