How to Create and Customize Navigation Menus in the Spectra One Theme
Creating and managing navigation menus in the Spectra One theme is simple and flexible, allowing you to design a menu that suits your website’s needs.
Whether you want a simple menu or a more complex one with dropdowns, this guide will help you get started with adding and customizing your Navbar menu.
How Does the Navigation block Works
Creating and customizing the Navbar menu in Spectra One theme is simple. You can follow these steps to add and adjust your menu to suit your website’s needs:
- Begin by selecting the page where you want to add the menu.
- Click the + (Add Block) button, search for the Navigation block, and select it.
- The navigation block will be automatically added with default menu items.
- To add pages, posts, or custom links, click the + icon from the right side.
- Choose the pages or links you want to add to the menu.
- To create a dropdown, drag one menu item beneath another and slightly to the right. This will automatically create a nested menu (submenu).
- You can drag and drop menu items to reorder them.
- You can also add other blocks beside the pages (example: button)
- Go to the Settings tab to adjust the spacing between menu items.
- You can also change the menu orientation to either horizontal or vertical.
- In the Styles tab, customize the menu by changing: Submenu text and background colors, Overlay text and background colors for a more personalized look.
With these steps, you can create a navigation menu that complements your website’s design and enhances user experience.
