This release brings White Label support to Spectra Legacy Pro — letting agencies rebrand the plugin for their clients.

✨ What’s New
  • White Label settings — A new White Label tab in the Spectra dashboard lets agencies set a custom plugin name, description, author, and logo. The custom branding appears across the admin sidebar, dashboard header, AI Features tab, onboarding popup, NPS notice, and deactivation survey.

Spectra Legacy 2.20.0 — Plugin Renamed + Security & Bug Fixes

This release brings an important rebrand, a security fix, and two frontend bug fixes.

🔔 What’s Changed
  • Renamed to Spectra Legacy — The plugin has been renamed to “Spectra Legacy” to reflect its new role as a maintenance-only release. All your blocks, settings, and content remain fully intact — nothing breaks.
🛠️ What’s Fixed
  • Security fix — This update addressed a security bug. Props to Muni Nitish Kumar Yaddala and WPScan for the responsible disclosure.
  • Info Box — anchor and custom classes missing on frontend — Anchor IDs, custom CSS classes, and responsive visibility conditions added in the editor were not appearing on the frontend after the apiVersion 3 migration. This is now fixed.
  • Image block — raw CSS text in Customizer preview — Raw CSS was being printed below the Image block when previewing in the WordPress Customizer. This is now resolved.

  • FAQ block editor validation — Existing FAQ blocks created before the apiVersion 3 update now validate correctly in the editor without triggering block recovery prompts.
  • Info Box CTA button colors — Button colors were not applying on the frontend when “Inherit from Theme” is disabled. This is now fixed.

Full WordPress 7.0 compatibility is here. All Spectra blocks have been migrated to apiVersion 3, which means they now render inside the new iframe-based block editor introduced in WordPress 7.0. Everything should look and behave exactly as expected in the editor.

🐛 Squashed

Improved stability on WordPress.com Atomic hosting. Some sites on WordPress.com’s Atomic infrastructure were hitting fatal errors — this release patches the root cause.

🐛 Squashed

A security vulnerability has been patched. Reported privately by Wordfence, fixed in 2.19.26. Nothing for you to do beyond updating.

No more PHP warning when inserting images without a query string in the URL. A small noise issue some sites were seeing in their debug logs. Gone.
