We’re thrilled to unveil the latest release of Spectra 2.12.5!
In this update, we’ve expanded the range of design possibilities by introducing new transformation features. We’ve also made significant strides in enhancing accessibility and customization options.
Moreover, the integration of support for non-Spectra blocks within the Quick Action Bar guarantees a seamlessly intuitive page-building experience.
This update includes the following features, improvements, and bug fixes:
Features:
- Transform to – Added transform to option from Core Cover to Spectra Container.
- Transform to – Added transform to option from Core Separator, Page Break, and Spacer to Spectra Separator.
Improvements:
- Buttons – Enabled aria-hidden and disabled focusable on the SVG inside the button.
- Image – Added an option to select the Image role for improved accessibility.
- Info Box – Added an element type option.
- Info Box – Added block margin settings.
- Call To Action – Added an element type option.
- Icon – Added an option to select the icon type for improved accessibility.
- Quick Action Bar – Added support for non-Spectra blocks.
Fixes:
- Container – Resolved an issue wherein the animation would be delayed on page load.
- Heading – Resolved an issue wherein the link color would not be correctly applied in the editor when added inside the loop builder with dynamic link enabled.
- Image – Resolved an issue wherein the caption alignment would not work as intended.
- FAQ – Resolved an issue wherein the answer section would have an extra bottom margin in the Astra theme.
- Tabs – Resolved an issue wherein the block’s static CSS would not update when file generation was off and only specific blocks were activated.
- Global – Resolved an issue in which Twenty Twenty-Two themes running on PHP 8.1 would encounter a few PHP warnings.
